The PCAN-MiniDiag FD is a compact, low-cost handheld device for basic checks of CAN and CAN FD buses. It detects the nominal and the data bit rate automatically (or can be set manually) and measures termination, bus load and voltage levels at the CAN connector. Counters show CAN, CAN FD and error frames, and a listen-only mode keeps it from influencing the bus. It has a 128 x 128 pixel OLED display, a four-key membrane keypad and a plastic IP42 housing (122 x 69 x 44 mm), and runs on replaceable AAA batteries. Firmware updates use PEAK-Flash 3 on a PC. This is a CAN bus tester, not a manufacturer-specific vehicle diagnostic tool. OEM diagnostic software and licences are not included.
