Lexia 3 PP2000 Full Chip (921815C) – PSA diagnostic interface for Peugeot, Citroën and DS**

A USB diagnostic interface that works with Diagbox, the PSA diagnostic software. It reads and clears fault codes, shows live data and runs tests and service procedures on Peugeot, Citroën and DS vehicles from 1995 onwards, plus selected PSA-based Opel/Vauxhall and Toyota models. The Full Chip hardware revision (921815C) is the one most sellers offer as the more reliable choice among Lexia 3 interfaces.

What you can do

- Diagnostics: read ECU identification, read and clear fault codes in all supported control units, run an automatic scan of the whole vehicle.
- Live data: view and record real-time values as lists or graphs.
- Actuator tests: switch components such as fans, pumps, relays and locks on and off to check them.
- Service functions: resets and adaptations such as oil service, DPF regeneration, injector coding and throttle adaptation. Availability depends on model, year and ECU.
- Coding and pairing: ECU configuration (telecoding), key and immobiliser pairing and ECU programming. On vehicles up to about mid-2015 this works offline. On newer vehicles these functions need an online PSA/Servicebox account, which is not included.

Vehicle coverage

Peugeot, Citroën and DS cars and vans from 1995 (for example 106 to 5008, Partner, Expert, Boxer, AX, Saxo, Xsara, C4, C5, Berlingo, Jumpy, Jumper, Relay). Also PSA-based Opel/Vauxhall models from about 2019, Toyota ProAce and Lancia Phedra. Check the compatibility list on this page for your exact vehicle and year.

Connection

- OBD-II 16-pin socket on most cars from about 2001.
- 30-pin round PSA connector with the supplied adapter on older cars (pre-2001).

Software

- Diagbox 7.x for vehicles up to about mid-2015, Diagbox 9.x for newer ones. Installed version and language depend on the seller.
- Windows 7, 10 and 11 (older Diagbox 7.x versions also run on Windows XP and 8, or in a virtual machine).
- Updates are released roughly every two months.
- Do not update Diagbox online unless the seller tells you to, because this can cause compatibility problems. Antivirus software may quarantine diagnostic files.

Technical details

- Interface: USB, powered from the vehicle (12 V).
- Protocols: K-Line and CAN, with J2534 pass-thru support. Some seller listings also mention SAE J1850 and VAN.
- Hardware: Full Chip PCB with optocouplers and relays.

What's in the box

Kit contents differ between sellers. A typical kit has the Lexia 3 unit, an OBD-II cable, USB and serial cables, a 30-pin adapter for older cars, battery clips and a software disc or download link. Laptop and Diagbox version are often sold separately.

- Not every function works on every vehicle. Functions depend on model, year, ECU and Diagbox version.
