My MX808 offers the 2.34 update. Anything broken in this release, or safe to install before a busy weekend?

Safe to install. Highlights: fixes full-system scan hang on VAG MQB, adds 2024–2026 model-year coverage for Honda/Acura, faster boot. No known regressions.
