FCAR F9S is a professional multibrand diagnostic platform for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. A 10-inch Android 11 tablet (8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, 10,000 mAh battery) works with the FCARLINK VCI communication module over a wireless link. The platform offers fast vehicle identification, automatic full-system scanning with a vehicle network topology view, advanced service functions and support for modern CAN FD and DoIP communication as well as J2534 pass-thru. Online coding and selected ECU programming is available for 14+ vehicle brands, and Security Gateway (SGW) access is supported on selected brands (Mercedes, Stellantis/FCA, SFD 1 and 2, Renault/Dacia tokens) where the vehicle manufacturer's own authorisation is required. Remote assistance from FCAR is included. EV and hybrid diagnostics are available only in the separate F9S-WE version. Check function and vehicle coverage for your VIN with FCAR before buying. FCAR F9S: 10-inch Android 11 tablet with the FCARLINK VCI (CAN 2.0, CAN FD, DoIP, J2534). FCAR states 130+ European, Asian and American makes without publishing a list; the 100 most common passenger-car makes are entered. Security Gateway access (Mercedes SGW, FCA/Stellantis SGW, VAG SFD 1 and 2, Renault/Dacia token) is entered for those makes and needs the vehicle manufacturer's authorisation. Online ECU programming for 14+ brands is offered by FCAR but the brands are not named, so it is not entered per make. EV / hybrid diagnostics are available only in the separate F9S-WE version, which is not part of this entry.
