G-scan 2 is a rugged 7-inch diagnostic scan tool from EZDS for Asian passenger cars and commercial vehicles. It has a sunlight-readable 7-inch touchscreen (1024 x 600), a triple-CPU structure (ARM11 main board plus separate communication and measurement boards), a 16 GB SD card, a 2100 mAh battery, on-board Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and runs Windows CE 6.0 with stand-by mode for instant start. It works on 7-35 V DC and supports 24 V buses and trucks. Functions include system and DTC auto search, full-text DTC descriptions, live data, flight record, screen capture with handwritten memo, favorite and recent menus, CAN line inspection, utility functions, dual mode for Hyundai and Kia software, smart update and direct printing. With the optional VMI2 pack it adds a 2/4-channel oscilloscope (up to 80 MS/s), a digital multimeter and a simulation function for sensor and actuator signals. Vehicle connector adapters are sold separately. The G-scan 2 is marked as sold out on the manufacturer's website.
