Xhorse VVDI Mini Prog is a handheld, battery-powered chip programmer controlled from the Xhorse app (Android and iOS) over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It reads and writes EEPROM, MCU, ECU, immobilizer and dashboard data and is designed for solder-free work: for most 8-pin chips a press-contact pin header reads the chip in circuit, so there is no need to remove the chip, solder, cut wires or lift pins. Three interchangeable pin headers, pin connection status detection, data editing and local and cloud storage are included; a small screen shows the working status. Solder-free adapters (e.g. BMW CAS, Porsche BCM, Land Rover) are sold separately and also work with VVDI Prog and Key Tool Plus. Mileage (odometer) correction is legal only to restore the correct reading after a cluster repair or replacement; never use it to alter a vehicle's true mileage. Some functions require paid activations, licences or tokens from Xhorse; coverage depends on the vehicle, immobilizer system and software version. OEM software and licences are not included.
