OBDSTAR P50 is a tablet for resetting crash data in airbag (SRS) control units after an accident repair. It covers 108 brands and 17,000+ ECU part numbers (and some MCUs) and works by OBD or on the bench.
Functions: one-click airbag reset, fuzzy search by ECU part number, clear BENCH wiring diagrams, fault code descriptions, battery reset (MVBM) and steering angle sensor (SAS) reset. Advanced functions: ECU info, read/erase DTC, read/write EEPROM and FLASH, erase crash data, write VIN.
Supplied P004 adapter for bench work: keeps communication when the 12 V switch is turned off, switchable 120 Ohm CAN resistor, CAN on pins 6&14 and 3&11, GM single-wire CAN, K-line, DB15 connector.
Hardware: Android 5.1.1 tablet, RK3128 quad-core CPU, 5-inch capacitive touchscreen (800x480), 2600 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, micro SD slot up to 32 GB, about 700 g, 198 x 115 x 31 mm.
