VNCI MDI2 is a diagnostic interface for General Motors vehicles that works with the original GM MDI2 driver, as an alternative to the dealer MDI2. It is plug and play - no third-party patches needed.
Supported vehicles: Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Opel from 1996 to today, including Global A and Global B platform models.
Functions: diagnosis, offline and online module programming, key programming, and diagnosis and programming of CAN FD / DoIP modules.
Compatible software: GM Techline Connect (TLC), GDS2, Tech2Win, RDS, Data Bus Diagnostic Tool, TIS2Web SPS and DPS, plus SAE J2534 Pass-Thru applications.
Protocols: SAE J2534 Pass-Thru, CAN FD, DoIP, GMLAN (CAN), Class 2, UART, KWP2000.
Connection: USB, Wi-Fi access point (AP) or WLAN station mode - switchable with a button on the device.
Note: the interface does not include the vehicle manufacturer's diagnostic software. Original OEM software (and any licence or subscription it requires) must be obtained separately. Setup guides are available in the VNCI knowledge base at vnciobd.com/knowledge-base.
